Ethical Issues in Amalgamating AI with Administrative Decision-Making

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping public administration by enhancing speed, accuracy, and data-driven governance. However, administrative decisions are not merely technical outputs—they involve human values, ethical judgment, empathy, and accountability. Since AI lacks emotional intelligence and moral agency, its integration into governance raises significant ethical concerns regarding fairness, transparency, responsibility, and human dignity.

  • Deficit of Compassion and Contextual Sensitivity
    • AI lacks emotional intelligence to interpret nuanced human suffering.
