The result will open as a PDF file. Download it and search for your roll number using Ctrl+F.

About the UPSC Prelims Result 2026

  • The UPSC Prelims result is the first qualifying stage of the Civil Services Examination.
  • Qualification is based only on GS Paper 1 marks. CSAT (Paper 2) is qualifying in nature — candidates must score at least 33% (66 out of 200) in CSAT.
  • The result is released as a roll-number-wise PDF on upsc.gov.in. Candidate names are not mentioned.
  • UPSC typically qualifies candidates at approximately 12–13 times the total vacancies for the Mains examination.
